Introduction
ZEAT is a social platform specifically tailored for gamers, making it easier to connect, play, and socialize. In a nutshell, ZEAT consolidates all the best functions and features of various social platforms popular among gamers, such as Discord, Steam, Reddit, and more, while also incorporating additional Web3 features powered by blockchain technology.
ZEAT is designed with a variety of use cases in mind, catering to the needs of gamers, game developers, and advertisers alike. By integrating Web2 and Web3 technologies, ZEAT enables seamless interactions and incentive alignment among all involved parties, paving the way for a more holistic and circular gaming ecosystem.
Gamers can easily discover, connect and communicate with other players, form guilds and alliances with organizational and collaborative tooling, participate in tournaments, purchase in-game items, gift cards, NFTs, in the in-app marketplace, and more.
Game Developers can leverage the platform to reach users, sell in-game items, host events, etc. They will also have access to numerous premium tools, such as deploying customized utility bots for various features, including game token price tracker, game wiki integration, leaderboard, on-chain gaming statistics tracker, and more.
Advertisers and game studios will have access to customized data and marketing solutions based on Web3 attributions. ZEAT will develop customizable targeted advertising modules based on data gathered from users' gaming habits and preferences.
Background
Motivations
The idea behind ZEAT emerged from the numerous inefficiencies and challenges associated with navigating gaming communities. As avid gamers ourselves, we frequently found ourselves juggling between multiple social and community platforms to fulfill various requirements. We relied on Discord for in-game voice comms, iMessage and WhatsApp for texting, and Reddit or dedicated forums for sharing in-game info and gaining insights.
These inefficiencies underscored an opportunity within the gaming community for a more seamless and cohesive solution. This inspired us to develop ZEAT, a comprehensive social platform catered to gamers, with integrated solutions that address all these pain points. On top of that, we decided to build on top of crypto-rails to provide even more robust features that are only possible in Web3, including immutable gamer credentials, on-chain economy and infrastructure, and governance tools for guild and clan coordination.
